800 Died in Pakistan's Floods

It's so sad and scary .

While the world is worried about stupid things, 800 people -and the number is rising- have died in Pakistan's Floods, Mainly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.

Bashir Ahmed Bilour, a provincial minister in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Said that "Many of the victims died when floodwaters swept away hundreds of mud houses in parts of Swat Valley and the districts of Shangla and Tank".

The floods have also cut the roads to  Swat Valley and the districts of Shangla and Peshawar.
"  The recent torrential rains have broken all previous records of rainfall in the country" according to a government official.

Hundreds are homeless and in need of food , shelter and aid. the world needs to help ASAP.

Update: The number of dead is over 1000 as reported today. August 1st.

they say what's coming is more...
I'm deeply touched... one family friend was preparing to go back to his homeland because his family needed him. Now he says he can't fly back, his family managed to leave the place safely, leaving behind no house no shelter, and most of their property lost.
لا حول و لا قوة إلا بالله
I'm sharing these pictures you've posted with my young sister to acknowledge what goes on and at least spare them some prayers. Prayer, I guess that is the least we can do. InshaAllah we will do the most we can.

  2. How horrible! May Allah help them in every way and lead them to better conditions.

It's extremely infuriating to know that while the majority is spending time worrying on useless things, the helpless and needy are ignored.

Thank you, Wafa', for bringing up awareness about pakistan.

I am so glad your friend's family is OK . The most important right now is lives. other things will be gained again.

Go ahead and share the pictures with everyone. The ones i saw are more horrifying than these , way much.

Let's try to help as much as we can.
