I guess the world have done something good this time which is rare but it is good news anyway...
The pastor who wanted to burn the Quran on 9/11 ninth anniversary in the name of condemnation the evil of Islam and asking people to join him, has actually called off his plans to burn the Quran.
He will always be remember as stupid and fanatic for his initiation to burn some one else's holy book , but the world has proved that one stupid act of violence shouldn't be answered by another stupid act of violence . And i believe that this is always the right way.
Now, he said he did that because Muslims clerics said that they are going to move the Islamic center that supposed to be built near ground zero to a further location which the clerics deny. So let's wait and see.
I like the idea some starting to advocate, distribute a translation of the Holy Quran in any language or The Quran in Arabic for any burnt one instead of attacking this pastor.
And since we are online and can not distribute a real copy of that, let's do the same with electronic copies.

The Quran is the Muslims holy book , its verses can be interpreted the way your background shapes you, you might take a verse that talks about killing non-Muslims as it 's or you can check the background of the verse, the time it was revealed by Prophet Muhammad...etc.
Reading in without proper knowledge might be scary, the same way as reading the Bible where non-Christians can wonder how is it a peaceful religion when there are words ask for killing, or simply a religion where a adultery is OK when reading some of its stories. We can not say it's a violent religion simply by reading a few words from here or there or the way some like to excerpt some of it.
Don't just read any book especially difficult books like HOLY books of different religions, try to understand , try to know the whole background of it.
And if you can not or don't have the time then simply stop claiming that this religion is a bad one -based on its holy book- and that is a good one. Don't be ignorant.

He Said he stopped because of what the Muslim clerics announced which they denied, So...he might be :-
1- telling the truth or
2-afraid of the threats he received or
3- got enough with the attention he had from the world or
4-he just realized that he announced to do something which is way bigger than him and now simply getting sober. And i would go with that one :P

Some people need to examin themselves before they attack others out of fear and ignorance, for this guy to even associate himself with a church, is riddiculous. If he knew anything about religion he would understand the " ten commandments", and that no where on that list it says burn holy books. Aggh Idiot!

no religion asks for hate but anyone can twist the words to make them follow his preaching.

BalasHapusi was watching cnn news last night..and there were people from his previous church in germany speaking against him.
saying he stole from there church and to question him was to question god.
there islam is a relgion not a race...and im so sick of ignorant people confusing both.
