How do charity sites work ?

I love , love, love to help those in need and the children and the women and everyone.

And i know how sites like World Food Programme work and how can you help there by clicking and donating.
But there are other sites that ask you to click on something or answer some questions and each time you do that, they are going to donate money or food to different kinds of charity.

I don't claim that they are illegitimate , i just wonder why don't they donate immediately without me clicking or answering something ?? , Why do they have to ask me to support an organization and then do something and choose a supporter and this support will send this amount of money to the organization i chose !!!

Take for example -Free Rice. com- ,which is supported by a big organization, where will you answer some questions, different kinds of them in different categories and as long as i keep scoring , they keep giving rice to the needy.
Why don't they give it immediately instead of people to answering random questions ?
Is it about attracting many people to their sites ? but they aren't advertising anything !!! .
Why don't give it in their names ? and don't wait for me to click ?

I just wonder and if anyone knows the answer, please tell me cuz i don't mind spending hours clicking if my questions were answered .

  3. wafa, I'm sure there are a lot of people out there with the same concerns as you and I. All we can do is pray that our help gets put towards helping the needy.

  5. Its data capture for analysing who their supporters are, where they are located, what age, sex etc they are so they can market to these people better, or target people who are not going there yet etc etc ...lots of different ways in which you can use data to improve your service or improve the amount of people you are targeting, and also, when you write funding proposals for charities: you need to explain who and what you are achiving and how and how helps you and who are your supporters etc etc...

I could go on for light years! ;0) Hope that helps!
