Exactly! However it's not that we don't think we aren't beautiful only, we're fed a concept by the media and magazines a concept of what a person should look like when in fact the reality of it is those exact people don't even look like the person in the magazine. There is always so much "editing" done to those models that we think and believe they are "perfect" and if they can be perfect, why cant we? Which explains why so many girls dress up so much all the time, with so much makeup and accessories. It reminds me of a powerful DOVE ad they had a while back promoting REAL WOMEN and REAL BEAUTY.
i remember that Dove ad, it was amazing that beauty can be seen in different shapes and colors. If the main media do change our prospective about beauty then we should try to create another image not follow their own sick ones so that women and men can be comfortable in their own way.
the same happens to men also. but most of all you have a baby girl who will be subjected to that kind of what she supposed to look like so you have a tough road ahead of you.
