Which Would You Celebrate in Saudi Arabia: Valentine Day or The Prophet's Birth? None

Tomorrow will be a busy day for the the people of the promotion of virtue and prevention of vice in Saudi Arabia because it's Valentine Day, poor fellas' , but if they are interested in thriller then it will be their day :D

Love is very expensive in here tomorrow, so if you are in love you can celebrate it in another day, say Sunday for example ,  think of it as you are in Australia and since it's already Monday there so you should be celebrating it with the rest of your folks.
or wait till it's early Tuesday and consider yourself American who lives in Los Angeles and then celebrate it. Though i wont advice you cuz Tuesday there will be another celebration for lots of Muslims " The Prophet's Birth"

Tomorrow the religious police or the promotion of virtue and prevention of vice will be roaming the streets, malls, everywhere and anywhere to look for these two criminals

and anything RED. So be careful and don't wear red or even think red.
Roses and teddy bears will be smuggled and so expensive, damn it.

What do you think will happen if there is a day called Death Day ? i guess we are going to celebrate it and they will promote it.It would be a lovely day.

Now according to them, this day is a forbidden in Islam, Why? .
Mostly because of the following reasons:
1- In Arabic it's called " Eid Alhob" and since we are Muslims, we only have two Eid's only, so this is Haram.
what about if we drop the bad translation and called " Youm Alhob" will it be OK?
2-It's considered as following in the steps of the westerners and the "infields" and we should not do that.
But are not we following in their steps in all walks of life !!
3-They just love to ruin our love affairs, and they are good with that
but we are way better , in ruin it i mean :D.
4-that love shouldn't be celebrated only in one day but always,
so if we choose another day just for us Saudis, let's say my birthday -since i am cute and all ;)- the 5th of November, will it be OK ??

And there are lots of scary stories to be told too. Like how this day is a Christian day and that the infidels are spreading it to be able to change our religion and make us leave Islam and accept Christianity ,etc.. .
It's a long boring story.

What surprises me most is that usually schools start announcing and threatening girls not to wear red or brought red roses and how is that forbidden in Islam and that they are doing something grave, but today nothing happens, they were actually talking about abaya and the forbidden kind !! .
you think they are going to ambush girls tomorrow !!!

i actually got a text  asking me to spread it so no one celebrate Valentine day tomorrow ,
it also says
" Sorry Valentine day, i'm Muslims, I love you Allah"
this is how twisted we are in our minds.  if we celebrate Valentine, we are not a Muslim and we don't love Allah !!

Tuesday will be the prophet's birth so it's going to be a tough week for them.

Happy Valentine day everyone
and please enjoy every single day of your live :)

  1. Happy Valentine's Day Wafa!

With Malaysia just across the causeway,I'm aware of all that you say.And sometimes people do 'warn' us here. But what's the big deal? Like what you say,

"But are not we following in their steps in all walks of life?"

We're all more alike than we are different.I don't find assurances of being Muslim and therefore different and holy any better than just being there for someone when they need you,to love and to be loved.Fulfilling the basics seems to be a forgotten task for our current complicated lifestyle.

  9. Hilarious post Foof!
sra7a I don't care about the whole valentiny thingy...I personally think it is pointless and I think it is not fair for all the people who don't have anyone to celebrate it with(not that I'm implying that I'm one of them looool)bs jd I mean really..it's like just another occasion to remind you how miserable you are,and these days always work at making me feel bad..you know what I mean?
I'm a happy happy person!why do they have to come and say "oh!this day is for couples only so you stay at home and just stare at the wall because you're single and you don't fit"
Well to hell with this,I'm happy the way I am,I don't care if it's international red teddy bears day out there,I don't believe in Valentine an I never will...and I will NOT just start celebrating it when I find the one just because I stopped being single, that would be quite hypocritical of me.

But on the other hand it is really stupid to say that you can only celebrate,or choose love or prophet Mohammad!0_O
So if you celebrate it y3ny kafarty?lol...jd people choose what ever they like of their religions,w b3dain aslan celebrating the prophet's birthday is also "not recommended"!

  11. Rain,

you know i don't care about it, it's just a day and i guess lots of people wont care or even notice if it's not forbidden here and being chased as if it's a grave. And i think all tat fuss about it is actually from the creative minds of companies who want to get richer by selling us chocolate, roses and teddy bears.

But no, they actually don't even want you to celebrate the prophet's birth too, so no celebration at all.
